To farm hanging roots, the dispensers should be pointing into the rooted dirt.
To farm pale hanging moss or weeping vines, the dispensers should be pointing into the plant attached to the ceiling above.
Shears are needed for hanging roots only; any silk touch tool can be used for pale hanging moss or weeping vines.

1. Place either hanging roots/hanging moss/weeping vines in front of the dispensers.
2. Fill inventory with dummy items and hold tool.
3. Stand on the flower pot and (if necessary) press the button next to you to dispense tool.
4. Flick the lever below to start the farm.
5. Aim ahead and attack continuously or at an interval of 1gt (0.05 seconds).
