This design is directional. Do not rotate.
Rotation can cause the shulker to get stuck in the boat area or not eject properly. If this is happening while the farm is built in the correct direction, follow the instructions in [this video](<https://youtu.be/s7JZWGcnHYA?t=768>) or build the modification shown in Figure 1.

If the player is getting hit in the AFK chamber:
(1.17-1.21.1) Replace the wall and slab with soul sand and fire and move the player away from the door.
(1.21.2+) Place a stair as shown in Figure 2.
If the snow golems do not shoot at the shulker, push the snow golems against the trapdoor with a piston or rotate the trapdoor to be on the north instead of south side, pushing it with a piston as shown in Figure 3.
