- Does not require side or bottom trenches.
Negatives
- This quarry has several failure modes which can occur very rarely. If they happen, the quarry can be fixed in 15 minutes or less.

Build
- 24-wide main trench
- Requires a shield to block water from flowing in from the sides, or a 1-wide side trench. Lava does not need to be shielded
- Does not require a bottom trench
- Size modifications:
- Adjust height by changing the distance between the top and bottom sections in 11-block increments
- Width is adjustable in 18-block increments
- Minimum height: 66 blocks
- Minimum width: 48 blocks
- The gravel remover part is optional. If you want to build it I recommend you wait until the quarry has moved at least 12 blocks so that you don't need to extend the main trench. Also, you will have to manually push down or remove the blocks which get left in its way when the quarry first launches.
- Make sure there aren't any blocks where the obsidian is in Figure 2.
Usage
- 1. Hit the note block in Figure 3 to toggle the quarry.
